The WCI Event – August 19
On Friday, August 19 the 18th Edition of the WCI event was held on Sidewinder with great antisapation. The competition pitted Team Italy, full of Italians and wannabes, versus Team Canada. The match was close and came down to the last hole when veteran WCIer Rav Grover sealed the win for Team Canada when he made a 20-foot birdie putt on No. 18. The WCI is one of the many Member run cultural events that the club hosts each year. Next up is the Lions versus the Bears.
