Super Senior Men Club Championship Recap

This past month we had our 2024 Senior Men's Club Championship on August 13 and 14. We had a great turnout of 78 players and had a tremendous two days with weather.
The highlight of the two days was Lyle Somers opening the tournament with a -2(70) on Sidewinder. Lyle would go on to win his second championship in three seasons with his performance.
We had lots of stellar play out of our membership. Gary Reed shot 73 on the first day which helped him edge out the competition for the Super Senior Championship flight. Robert Lamothe would shine in the A flight and Super Senior A flight winning both. Terry Lord would accomplish the same feat in our B and Super Senior B flights.
Another congratulations to Gary Reed and Lyle Somers as they have both qualified for the Ontario Senior Ryder Cup.
