Club Update - RattleSnake Point

Dear RattleSnake Members,
As we move into the fall season and the days begin to get shorter, we wanted to provide a few updates to our tee sheet and booking process, along with some helpful reminders as we head into one of the best times of year to play golf.
The weatherman is calling for a gorgeous fall, so let’s take advantage of it and get out there!
Weekday Start Times
Beginning in September, weekday tee times will start at 8:00., moving to an 8:30 a.m. start time midway through October
Weekend Start Times
Weekend tee times will begin at 7:30am - 8:00am. Please be sure to update your ballot start times if you are looking to play in the early morning.
Twilight Golf
Twilight golf starts at 3:00pm while Family Twilight is beggining at 4:00pm. This will move a half hour earlier in October.
Frost Delays
As temperatures begin to drop later in the month, there may be mornings when frost delays are required. If frost impacts the day's tee sheet, we will communicate any delays as soon as possible.
Fall Balloting Reminders
Fall golf brings some of the best conditions of the year, but as daylight hours wind down, our tee sheet availability naturally tightens. Shorter days mean fewer tee times across the board, which increases demand, especially when the forecast calls for great weather.
To help your group secure a time, a few small adjustments to your balloting habits can give you the best possible chance:
- Include all player names: Always enter every player in your group when submitting your ballot rather than holding spots. Fully completed ballots give the system the best information when placing your group.
- Broaden your availability window: The wider your requested time range, the better your chances. Keeping your window flexible gives the system more opportunities to place your group, while a narrow window can often lead to a missed opportunity.
- Review the club calendar first: Check the online calendar for scheduled events, leagues, or maintenance blocks before submitting your ballot. If your requested time falls within an unavailable period, the ballot cannot be successful.

Leagues & Fall Events
All RattleSnake leagues will wrap up at the end of September as we transition into the fall season.
