Park Twins Achievements
28 JUN 2024
We would like to recognize the recent achievements of a couple of our junior members, Nobelle and Kaprice Park (14). The twins have been members since 2020 and have been dominating the local junior golf scene for the past couple of seasons. In the fall of 2023, they were selected for our provincial team and have continued to produce consistent winning results.
The twins compete locally, nationally, and often in the United States for some of the larger invitational tournaments. Earlier this month, Nobelle qualified for the U.S. Junior Girls' Amateur with Kaprice finishing as the 1st alternate, competing against girls several years older. Just last week, they finished 1st and 2nd in the stroke play portion of the GAO Women’s Amateur, with Kaprice ultimately finishing runner-up in match play and Nobelle advancing to the quarterfinals. Both girls have multiple local wins this season, with many rounds posting under par.
Nobelle added to her accolades this week at the 109th Women’s Amateur Championship held at West Haven Golf Course. Check out the full article here.
Their success, however, is not accidental. You will often find the Parks on the putting green completing their daily drills or on the range building their consistent swings. Nobelle and Kaprice are wonderful ambassadors of our junior membership and an inspiration to all who love this great game.
Please join me in wishing them continued success at the U.S. Junior Girls' in California, the Canadian Junior Girls' in Vancouver, and beyond.
