Introducing your 2023 RattleSnake Point Golf Club Member Advisory Committee
Men’s Captain – Dan Colagiacomo
Dan Colagiacomo joined ClubLink in 1997 as a member at Blue Springs and transferred over to Rattlesnake in 2001. Dan has been a regular participant at Men's Night for the last 15 seasons and in 2018 was asked to take the lead on the fundraising efforts for the Men's section. During the last four seasons, the Men's charitable contributions more than doubled each season. In 2021 Dan became the Men's Vice Captain responsible for the weekly Men's Night Program and this season will assume the role of Men's Captain.
Born, raised, and still residing in Oakville with his wife Michelle and two teenage sons, Dan has spent the last 25 years building GX Transport. He currently sits on the Board of Directors at the Ontario Trucking Association, and together with the GX Transport team has been an active supporter of Food4Kids.
Men’s Vice Captain – Paul Mann
Paul Mann has been with ClubLink and RattleSnake since 2018.
Women’s Captain – Louise Smith
Louise Smith joined ClubLink and RattleSnake in 2008 and has always enjoyed being an active Member in the Women's section. Since 2018, she has been involved with helping to organize and and contribute ideas to the Women's League and Member Advisory Committee. Last year, Louise was responsible for the Women's League and this year looks forward to her new role as Women's Captain.
When not golfing with the RattleSnake Women, Louise enjoys golfing with her husband Kevin and son Peter. As a nurse and following an exciting career in healthcare education and management, she continues to stay involved in the healthcare sector by sitting on two board of directors. Louise loves to travel, sing and play the guitar and has a passion for cooking!
Women’s Vice Captain – Lyna Newman
Lyna Newman joined ClubLink in 2004 at Glencairn, where she spent 6 years on their Women's League, including Captain. Lyna joined RattleSnake 5 years ago, where she started a Women's travel league, which due to COVID, morphed into the first Senior Women's league at ClubLink. Lyna was the first Captain of that league for 2 years and will now serve as Vice Captain of the Women's League. Lyna clearly knows her way around RattleSnake, as evident by her pictured hole in one on SideWinder 16!
Lyna retired at 47 to enjoy golf and life. She spends her winters in Palm Springs and was Tournament Chair of her league for the past 7 years. Lyna enjoys staying active and has been involved with volunteering for just about anything golf related, as well as several charities.
Senior Men’s Captain – Peter Gee
Peter Gee joined ClubLink and RattleSnake from the beginning in 1999. Born in Sudbury, he studied at the University of Waterloo and obtained his MBA from the University of Toronto. Currently living in Waterdown, Peter is a self employed CPA who loves golf. He enjoys spending time with his 3 grandkids and 2 step-grandkids. Peter is excited for his role as Senior Men's Captain this season.
Senior Men’s Vice Captain – Howie Wark
Howie Wark joined ClubLink in 1997 at Heron Point and moved over to RattleSnake in 2000. He served as Men's Club Captain from 2003 - 2005, was Club Champion in 2003 & 2004, and was Senior Men's Champion the following year in 2005. Howie started golfing at age 13 and and worked throughout his high school and college years at Saugeen Golf Club in Port Elgin. He currently works in the Golf Apparel industry.
Howie has been an active participant in Men's Night and Senior Men's day over the year and is looking forward to working with Peter and the rest of the Committee to continue making the Senior Men's League great and ensuring it is enjoyable for everyone's participation.
Senior Women’s Captain – Cindy Uffelmann
Cindy Uffelmann joined ClubLink and RattleSnake in August 1999. She is retired from TD Bank and spends her winters in Rancho Mirage, California, and gets her golfing in at Mission Hills Country Club.
Senior Women’s Vice Captain – Nancy Cloutier
Nancy Cloutier has been a ClubLink member since 2003, first joining Glencairn and transferring to RattleSnake that same year. She organized the Women's Member Guest for 7 years and was Women's Day Convener for a few years. She is excited for her role as Senior Women's Vice Captain and helping out with the League this year. Nancy recently purchased a home in Naples, Florida in a golf community and is happy to now winter there.
