Food and Beverage 2022 Update
24 MAR 2022
Welcome Spring 2022!
This past winter gave us some very cold days and more snow than we wanted. However, Spring arrived this past Sunday and so will the beginning of the 2022 golf season.
Over these past several months, your Food and Beverage team has been working behind the scenes planning and preparing in order to ensure we deliver a great season and wonderful dining experience for you and your guests.
Thanks to your feedback, Chef Mark Stone and Chef de Cuisine Ryan de Leon have made many adjustments to the menu, such as including more shareable items and plans to introduce at least five new menus throughout the course of the season.
Popular items will continue to be available, such as our Cobb salad, grilled chicken club, and fish & chips, as well as daily lunch/dinner features; the ‘After Five’ dinner menu will be offered Friday through Sunday.
We also partnered with our wine vendors to create wonderful pairings that will complement menu items, which we know you will enjoy.
The ’On Course’ menu will offer weekly features and sandwich selections will change on a regular basis. Also, look forward to new choices of White Claw, Bud Light Seltzers, and Collective Arts craft beers.
The water re-filling station at the halfway house will continue and we encourage everyone to help reduce plastic waste by bringing your re-usable water bottle.
2022 will also see the return of several Social Member dining events and our social calendar will kick-off with a Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 8th, with telephone reservations commencing on April 1st at 905-878-6222 (ext. 2010). Father’s Day Bar-B-Que and Nine & Dine event information will be shared soon in future newsletters and communications.
Let’s not forget to mention your team! We are very happy to have many staff returning for the 2022 season; our servers, bartenders, on course staff, and culinary team will help us build on success. We also added some new faces to your team and please welcome Michelle Inglehart (new Food & Beverage Manager), Jose Vella (new Banquets Manager), and Amanda Roganowicz (new assistant Bistro Manager).
Although economic conditions continue to affect food costs and supply chain issues, we remain committed to providing you value and quality in all our menu items and hope you will make the Bistro and Terrace your first choice for lunch or dinner this season.
“No matter how good you get, you can always get better and that’s the exciting part” - Tiger Woods
Welcome 2022 and we look forward to seeing you soon!
