Food and Beverage News - April 2023

27 APR 2023

Welcome Spring 2023

The warm summer weekend experienced mid April has escaped us. April showers and cool temperatures are lingering but we are open for business! We are pleased to introduce a few new faces to the team. Our managers, Blair and Michelle continue to build our service team. We have a great group of staff here to deliver a great service experience in our Bistro and with Member events.

The Bistro is open daily for lunch and dinner.  On May 4th we will begin extended hours open until 8:30 pm through the week and 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. The full menu and updated hours of operation are now posted on our member website. Chef Ryan DeLeon and his team have been working to build Menus that offer a wonderful selection of new menu items along with our popular classics. Daily features for lunch and dinner will add to the selection.  Our wine list is offering a few new options including a fantastic malbec from the Dona Paula vineyards. And remember if you cannot finish the bottle, you can always recork and “Take The Rest Home”.  We encourage you to enjoy the option of BYOW, bring your own wine for dinner service. There is a $25 corkage fee.  We are happy to announce live entertainment every Saturday evening on the Terrace from mid June to Labour Day! We will be posting the line up at the club and on the website!

We invite you to walk into the Halfway House once again. Visit with Ava and Anna who are happy to prepare a daily food feature for you to enjoy during your round of golf. Sarah, Reagan, and Natalie are there to provide lots of snacks and a large selection of beverages!  We look forward to introducing new flavours of White Claw Seltzers and Collective Arts craft beers to our beverage selection. To get you through the front nine don’t forget to use the coolers on your golf cart to keep your drinks cold. Refresh for the back nine, ice is available at the Starters Hut.  We encourage you to bring your refillable water bottle. Just a reminder we have two water stations located behind the halfway house for refills.

Some of our Member League play begins the first week of May. Thursday Men's Night buffets are a bit hit and the Bistro menu is always available. Our social events calendar will kick off the season hosting Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 14. Dinner features will be available through the evening. Let’s not forget to mention the Members Mixed Opening with dinner and dance is being hosted on Saturday, May 27. The menu and event details are now posted on the Member website.  We hope you will be sure to attend! Information about Father’s Day Bar B Que and our Nine & Dines will be available soon.

Our goal is to see more participation, ‘lets get social again’! Let’s make time to reconnect with old friends and to meet some new ones! Welcome 2023, looking forward to seeing you at the club soon!
