It’s not a big stretch to fashion a comparison around the dreamer’s personality of a Poker player searching for that big score, and a fringe Professional golfer grinding out Monday qualifiers week after week.
Keep the faith. Never quit. There’s always hope. A chip and a chair.
Just like that poker player down to their last chip – the Monday qualifier working professional tours is dreaming the same way – just get me in!
And last week at the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit, 2 separate stories of perseverance and dedication played out for the top 2 finishers. Their heart-warming finish played out for us under the bright lights of a Sunday PGA Tour event, but like many weeks they have experienced, it started early Monday morning. just get me into the tournament and we’ll see what happens! Indeed.
