Closing Letter from Craig Cupido

With the closure of the course, I reflect on the year that was and immediately begin preparing for 2025. 

To give some data for 2024, RattleSnake was open for 211 days which was seven more than 2023 due to a warmer fall. 

The rounds played are just over 78,000 which is up 2.2% compared to 2023. Member and Member Guest play accumulated 54.3% of rounds, Interclub and Interclub Guest 40.4% and corporate events equals 5.2% of total play. 

RattleSnake will close the season with a full membership capacity of 900. 

I would like to thank our Men’s committee and Captain Dan Colagiacomo for all their tireless work and welcome Paul Mann, your 2025 Men’s Captain and Otto Trozzolo as your Men’s Vice Captain. Thank you to Brian Gore, Steven Sotnick and the handicap committee. Howie Wark, your Senior Men’s Captain, and Rob Stapleford as your Senior Men’s Vice Captain. Women's Captain Louise Smith for all her magnificent work and welcome Lyna Newman, your 2025 Women's Captain, and Asha Singh as your Women’s Vice Captain. We also thank Senior Women’s Captain, Cindy Uffelmann for her efforts and welcome Nancy Cloutier as your 2025 Senior Women’s Captain, and Dawn Ogilvie as your Senior Women’s Vice Captain. 

Thank you to all Members who make this Club truly special day in and day out. 

My sincere appreciation to all the RattleSnake staff for their hard work and dedication every day, making RattleSnake a wonderful experience for our Members and Guests. We are not perfect, but we certainly care. My genuine gratitude to all the managers for supporting myself and each other. Thank you to Stephanie Berriman, Golf Operations Manager, Steve LeBlanc, Head Golf Professional, Chris Forgan, Regional Merchandise Manager, Chef Ryan deLeon, Michelle Inglehart, Food and Beverage Manager, Blair Shenton, Hospitality Manager, Nancy Jamieson, Facilities Manager, Bill McAllister, our Superintendent, Mike Banton, our Assistant Superintendent, Tanya Grove, Catering and Sales Manager, and of course Beverly Finlayson our Clubhouse Manager. 

Our 2025 preparation begins immediately. My goal will always be to lead the team to get better every day to provide unrivalled experiences with the service you deserve as Members of RattleSnake Point. During the winter months myself and the team are building plans and procedures to accomplish an incredible year that we will call “Next Level”. These plans include but are not limited to staffing, menu creation, capital work, training, and a crisp and clean property.
