The Academies of ClubLink at RattleSnake Point Golf Club has a graduated system for learning and performance for our junior golfers. All of our programs provide a fun and interactive environment with an emphasis on teamwork and positive reinforcement. Please read the program descriptions to determine where your junior golfer should begin. 

We are very excited to be announcing our Operation 36 programming for the 2025 golf season!

Operation 36 is the most effective program to teach beginners to learn to play golf. It is a clear blueprint to go from complete novice to par golfer. The lessons are based around playing on the course right away and moving up in levels. Lastly, the technology that they provide in the app is cutting-edge!  You can track all of your progress through the Op36 Mobile app. We are confident that you will love being part of the Operation 36 community as much as we do!

Parents & Tots

The Parent-and-Tot is a 4-week program running on Wednesday nights, targeted for kids 2-4 years old. This program has been developed to introduce young children to the game in a fun and interactive way, focusing on golf-centered games. The goal of this program is to introduce students to the basics and fundamentals of golf, focusing on putting, chipping and a full swing. This program is developed to include parents, so we can foster a love of golf from a young age.

Includes:

• Four, 45-minute sessions of instruction covering the full swing fundamentals, starting position, the swing motion, impact and the finishing position.
• Instruction on putting, chipping, full swing and the rules of golf
• Fun, interactive golf and themed games
• Parents are required to stay for the clinic to help promote each child’s love of golf!

U7 Development Program

Embark on a golf adventure with our 8-Week Junior Beginner Program, ideal for young newcomers and those in Levels 1 & 2 (25 & 50 yards) of Operation 36. This program blends fun and learning, making it the perfect introduction to the world of golf. 

Weekly Coaching Classes (8 Weeks) -

Our interactive group classes, based on the Operation36 Curriculum, make golf learning engaging and easy for your child. We cover 12 skills across 6 levels, ensuring a comprehensive introduction to the game.

Operation 36 Play Days (4 Events) -

Experience real golf with our structured 9-Hole Play Days. Starting from 25-yard holes at Level 1, these play days encourage your junior to shoot a score of 36, progressing to larger distances as they improve.

The Op 36 Mobile App -

Watch your child's skills grow! As they advance through the levels, they earn new skills and rewards, boosting their confidence and enthusiasm.

Junior Morning Camp

This is a one week long camp for children 6-14 years old, being held each week throughout the summer months. Students will be instructed by PGA of Canada Professionals with a student/coach ratio no larger than 8:1. Camp will include full swing and short game instruction on the driving range as well as on course play on the Rattler par-3 course. 

Includes: 

• Maximum of 32 students per camp with an 8:1 student/coach ratio
• Golf instruction covering full swing fundamentals, and short game skills
• Skills competition and games
• Nine holes of golf and on course instruction
• Golf Camp Qualifies for government tax credit

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

8:30 a.m.  -  9:00 a.m.	Drop off and Check-In
9:00 a.m.  -  9:15 a.m.	Coaches introduction, rules and etiquette, previous day recap
9:15 a.m - 9:30 a.m.	Golf fundamental introduction (Set  up, short game, full swing mechanics, rules and etiquette, golf equipment basics)
9:30 a.m.  -  10:30 a.m.	Skill Development (Putting, chipping, full/partial swing shots)
10:30 a.m.  - 10:45 a.m.	Break (please bring snacks and drinks) – Water will be available for refills
10:45 a.m.  - 12:15 p.m.	On course instruction (Rattler, develops skills learnt that day) Golfers will progress to further distances while focusing on skill development
12:15 p.m.  - 12:30 p.m.	Parent pick up at the putting green Closing Remarks, Q&A, Coach's Challenge

 

Timing and coaching locations may be adjusted to fit the needs of each individual group.
On the final day we will spend most of the day on the academy course

Junior Advanced Camp

This program is developed specifically for the junior golfer who wants to take their game to the Championship courses. We are offering two weeks each month throughout the summer with a Monday-Friday camp schedule. The 5 day camp will consist of fundamentals on the range and short game areas, wedge play on the Rattler Par 3 course and strategy, etiquette, rules and sportsmanship on our Championship 18 hole courses.

Includes: 

• Monday-Friday 8:00AM-12:30PM
• Golf instruction with PGA Professional Rich Storey
• 6:1 Student to Coach ratio (Maximum 6 students per week)
• On course training in 9-hole par 3 and 18-hole Championship course sessions
• Video and shot data analysis with V1 and Trackman
• Golf Camp Qualifies for government tax credit
