Golf Canada & GHIN Handicap Information for Dual Members

For those of you who belong to both a Canadian club and a club in the United States, we wanted to share a helpful update regarding your Golf Canada and GHIN handicaps.

Under the World Handicap System, you only need one active handicap account to ensure your scoring remains accurate and consistent across all courses. While a Golf Canada handicap and a U.S. GHIN handicap cannot be combined by the member directly, your U.S. club can transfer your Golf Canada handicap into GHIN so that your full scoring history and index stay in one place.

If you currently have two active handicaps, we recommend choosing one as your primary account and having the other deactivated to avoid any discrepancies.

If you would like help with this process or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Spence at srempel@clublink.ca and we will be happy to assist you.
