RattleSnake Point – October Operations Update
As we move further into October, the shorter days and cooler mornings are a reminder that the season is starting to wind down. It’s been another great year at RattleSnake Point, and we appreciate all the support and energy our members have brought to the club throughout the season.
With the change in weather, a few operational adjustments will be taking place over the next few weeks. Starting October 20, tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. to account for later sunrises and frost delays. This helps us maintain good playing conditions and ensures a more consistent start to each day.
The on-course washrooms will close during the week of October 27, and our refillable water stations will close on October 28. From that point on, complimentary Eska bottled water will be available at the Halfway House and Starters for members and guests. Our on-course water lines will also begin to be blown out that same week as part of our winterization process.
The driving range will close for the season after October 26, and we’ll begin preparing the practice areas for winter. The Bistro will operate under reduced hours, as outlined in the most recent newsletter, but will remain open until the club officially closes for the season.
Our locker room facilities will remain open under limited hours until November 2, with schedules posted in the stewards’ room. Bag storage will also remain available until this date. We kindly ask that members remove all golf bags before November 2 and ensure any personal or valuable items are cleared from lockers prior to that time.
We’ll continue to keep everyone updated and will share the official closing date as soon as it’s confirmed.
Thank you again for a terrific season and for your continued support of the club. We look forward to seeing many of you out enjoying the final weeks of golf this fall.
Warm regards,
Craig Cupido
