Operations Update and the Golf Report
13 AUG 2021
Operation Update
Before we get into the Operation Update, we would like to congratulate Pat Thody! On July 31st Pat made an 8 foot putt on SideWinder #18 to shoot 78, which is Pat’s age! This is the 8th time Pat has shot his age and with Pat’s game, he is sure to do it many more times! Shooting your age is a pretty big deal, unofficially only 0.00089% of golfers have done this. Great work Pat, keep it up!
As we reach the mid-point of the season, we really start to appreciate the continuous growth we have made through the last 60 days. Indoor dining is open again, giving us an option during inclement weather. Our patio has never been busier as we continue to offer more service options to our Members. Thank you to everyone for continuing to support the social distancing and Covid-19 protocols we have in place — your dedication to this process is the main reason we can enjoy golf and the Club life.
Your experience as a Member is very important to us, and your feedback is extremely helpful in our efforts to make it the very best that it can be. Thank you to those who completed the Home Club Member experience survey that was sent out to Full Golf Members last month.
We are grateful for the positive reinforcement in many areas, and we recognize that there are areas in which we can improve. The management team will be reviewing your survey entries and comments in the next two weeks and creating actions based on your responses. Member feedback is the best way for us to improve your experience. We are always available to listen to you to ensure your experience at RattleSnake Point Golf Club is the best it can be.
Golf Services
We are now happy to inform you that in addition to locker room access being available that showers are now also available for use in both the Men’s and Women's locker rooms. Members who need assistance locating their locker can reach out to the Golf Shop at rapro@clublink.ca. We ask that you please be respectful of distances in the locker room, continue to wear masks at all times when not in the shower, and ensure all garbage is placed in the correct areas.
Locker steward services will be available starting Tuesday, August 17. The hours of operation will be as follows:
Tuesday to Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, ball washers will be re-installed on course this week. Thank you very much for your ongoing support and patience!
Power Carts
Provincial guidelines now allow golf carts to be shared. We can all appreciate the positives of single rider carts and their effect on a fast pace of play so these will still be permitted, however in some events or busy days you may be asked to share carts. Our carts are all outfitted with coolers and ice is available at the bag drop and halfway hut. A reminder that personal alcohol is not permitted at the property, any Member found with personal alcohol will be asked to destroy it and may face further repercussions.
BMW Test Drive Experience
As a ClubLink Member, you have exclusive access to a very special benefit of a complimentary 72-hour test drive in a beautiful BMW vehicle. Members may choose between a BMW X7 luxury utility vehicle or a BMW M850i Grand-Coupe. The Grand-Coupe just arrived and is available for booking now, you’ll see both vehicles in the parking lot awaiting the next lucky test driver. To book your test drive visit https://bmwclublinkexperience.ca and drive it home today. Special birthday, or weekend to Muskoka in your plans? Drive-up in style in a 2021 BMW the Ultimate Driving Machine.
