Food and Beverage Welcome Letter
07 APR 2025
Welcome to 2025
Spring is certainly slow to begin. Mother Nature is playing a game with the weather but we will be opening the clubhouse very soon!
We would like to take a moment to thank Michelle Inglehart for her contribution the last three seasons. We wish her continued success as she joins the Glen Abbey team and continues to grow her career with ClubLink.
Blair Shenton is moving into the role of Food and Beverage Manager; We congratulate him on his promotion. Blair continues to be committed to providing excellent service and attention to all our Members and their Guests. We would like to introduce Dave Brown as our new Hospitality Manager. You will see Dave out and about in our Bistro. Dave has an exceptionally strong background in restaurants. We also welcome Sajal Singhai to the position of Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Sajal’s background in banquets, weddings, and conferences will help to round out our team. I am happy to advise the majority of our staff will be returning this season. We are all very excited for the season to begin.
Our culinary team under the guidance of Executive Chef Ryan de Leon is preparing a number of menus. Our Members and Bistro Guests will enjoy a wonderful selection of new items in addition to our regular favorites.
We are currently working to build a wine list that will offer a wide selection of LCBO and consignment products. Unfortunately, Californian Cabernet will remain in the LCBO warehouse for now. We are sourcing some New World and Old World Wines that we hope you will enjoy.
Many of you have already reached out to ask us about Mother’s Day. We are indeed hosting our traditional Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday, May 11. We are currently taking reservations. More information is available online and in this newsletter.
Happy Easter, we will see you at the club soon.
Beverly Finlayson
Clubhouse Manager
