Food and Beverage News - March 2023
30 MAR 2023
We welcome the 2023 season! April kicks off the golf season here at the club. We hope many of you have had the opportunity to travel more freely this past winter. And of course, locally there are many indoor golf facilities that offer a chance to practice the game we love. It won’t be long now!
As always, behind the scenes we are preparing for the season ahead. We are excited to host our feature Events including Mother’s Day brunch, Father’s Day BBQ and our monthly Nine & Dines. We will be featuring Entertainment Saturdays in our Bistro from mid June to Labour Day. Our goal is to increase communication of events, menus changes, After Five menus through our website and also updates in the clubhouse! We will work closely with Jesse Gronkowski, our Member Experience Manager, to utilize social media. We are excited about the season ahead with many returning staff, a few new faces and lots of enthusiasm!
We also wish to acknowledge Chef Ryan DeLeon and Joey Runtic, for their work on a very special project. Over several winters now we have worked closely with community food bank representatives. We continue to provide meals to people in need. With ClubLink’s financial support, Chef Ryan works with ‘Food for Life’ in Burlington. We produce 350 to 400 meals per week. The food is prepared, packaged, labeled, collected and distributed in local communities.
Food For Life is the largest food rescue organization in Halton and Hamilton areas. The Vision ~ that everyone should have access to healthy food! Learn more, donate, volunteer at Food For Life!
